Check out my new surfboard that Rickland Surfboards made for me with custom artwork featuring a panther chameleon on the deck!

It’s a 6′ 6″ quad with a bat tail and I can’t wait to ride it on our next swell that’s coming this Friday! The owner of Rickland Surfboards got a male chameleon from me for his kids and this is my latest board he built for me. (called the Quattro) I also have a 6′ 0″ fish that I got from him too that’s amazing! I highly recommend Rickland if you need a board. He’s one of the best shapers I have ever worked with and he even shapes for a few big name surfers like Ross Williams, Jamie Obrien, Sunny Garcia, and a few others…

Hello Tim..

It’s been a couple of months since I purchased one of your hold back males from your breeding colony and he is doing great since I got him! I just wanted everybody to know that here at Exotic Panthers you will find some of the best chameleons In Southern California! Top quality blood lines. I was looking for an adult ambilobe to have for myself and fell in love with this one male’s amazing coloration and just had to get him! I now know how lucky I was to get him! I live about an hour away in Orange County and drove my self to San Diego for this beautiful panther. I started breeding him myself and he is an amazing stud!!

Just wanted to say thanks again Tim! My kids and I are loving him so if you are trying to buy a chameleon you will find nothing but the best at Exotic Panthers!!!!

Have you changed your lighting and supplements for the winter?

Happy Holidays to all Exotic Panthers customers and panther chameleon lovers!

I just wanted to send out a reminder to make sure to buy new Reptisun 5.0 lights for the winter season to make sure your panther chameleons are getting the proper amount of UV light each day. These lights wear out ever 6 months so don’t make the same mistake I did with my first chameleon by not getting him a new light each winter! It’s also important to make sure you have a nice basking area less than 6 inches from the top of their cages because these lights only emit UV rays about 6-8 inches into the cage!

Have you switched over to supplements and vitamins made for chameleons that are kept indoors? This is also very important to do at this time of year so make sure to double check to make sure they have vitamin D3 in them for chameleons kept indoors!

Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD) is no fun and you don’t want your chameleon coming down with it! You have to make sure your chameleon is getting the proper amount of UV light each day and also the proper vitamins and supplements with vitamin D3 to avoid this disease!

Please make sure to take care of your chameleon so he or she can have a Happy Holiday season!
